A brand-new underground bicycle parking facility has recently opened beneath Houtplein in Haarlem.

This modern and spacious garage offers room for no fewer than 440 bicycles and is equipped with a range of amenities to make bike parking both comfortable and secure.

Entrance at Houtplein

The entrance to the underground bicycle parking facility is centrally located at Houtplein, right next to the ING bank.

Thanks to its smart design, the facility is easy to find and very accessible for everyone.

From the parking garage beneath the hotel, you have direct access to the bicycle parking via an internal door – safe, quick, and fully sheltered.

Opening hours:

• Monday to Friday: 6:00 AM – 11:00 PM

• Saturday: 7:00 AM – 11:00 PM

• Sunday: 8:00 AM – 11:00 PM

Facilities

Spacious capacity – There is room for no fewer than 440 bikes, including regular bikes, e-bikes, and bikes with wider handlebars.

Charging points for e-bikes – Several charging stations are available specifically for e-bikes, ensuring your bike is always ready to go.

CCTV and security monitoring – The facility is under 24/7 CCTV surveillance, providing peace of mind and safety.

Lighting & visibility – The space is brightly and clearly lit, offering extra comfort and safety, even during the evening hours.

Bike repair station – For minor repairs, there is a self-service repair station equipped with tools and a pump.
