Yes! We have 200 free parking spaces right at the door, including 17 charging stations.

Take bus line 73 towards Maarssen.
Get off at Zonnebaan bus stop after approximately 15 minutes.
From Maarssen Station:
Take bus line 73 towards Utrecht Central Station.

The hotel is located 300 meters from the bus stop.

Do I need to pay extra if I want more people than originally planned to sleep in my room?
The prices of our hotel rooms depend on the date and the number of people staying in a room. Additionally, not every room type is suitable for more than two people. To accommodate extra guests in your room, you need to adjust your reservation. Please send an email to Reservations at reservations@president.carlton.nl or call T. +31 (0)30-2425902. We will inform you of any potential additional costs before confirming your reservation.

What kind of payment do you accept?
We accept the following forms of payment: iDEAL, PIN/Maestro, Eurocard/Mastercard, VISA, American Express, Diners, debit cards. However, we do not accept PAYPAL. In our hotel, we prefer payment by PIN/credit card rather than cash.

At Carlton President, we only accept payments via bank transfer, debit card, or credit card. You may choose to pay in advance by bank transfer or conveniently settle your bill on-site with a debit or credit card. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

I don't have a credit card, can I still book a room?
Yes, that's not a problem, but please make sure to check in before 4:00 PM. See above for other payment options.

Do I have to pay tourist tax?
Yes, the tourist tax for 2024 is 7% of the room rate.

What is your cancellation policy?
When we receive your written cancellation before 4:00 PM on the day of arrival, no cancellation fees will be charged. However, this only applies if you have booked a flexible rate directly through Carlton President. Depending on a different rate chosen, the cancellation policy may vary. The Uniform Conditions for the Hotel and Catering Industry apply to all agreements. These will be sent to you free of charge upon request.

What time is the check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 2:00 PM, and check-out is before 12:00 PM

Can I check in earlier?
Based on availability, you can check in before 2:00 PM for an additional fee of €20. Fortunately, you can always leave your luggage at the front desk and explore Utrecht or enjoy a drink at bar/restaurant One24 in the meantime.

Can I check out later?
You can upgrade your reservation to a late check-out based on availability (and for a fee). Send your request to reservations@president.carlton.nl, call +31 (0)30 2414182, or inquire at the reception.

What time is breakfast served?
In One24, we serve a comprehensive breakfast buffet on weekdays from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM and on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Are pets allowed?
No, pets are not allowed at Carlton President.

Do you provide baby cribs?
Yes, upon request, you can have a baby crib in the room for children up to 3 years old. The cost is €10 per night.

Do you have a shuttle service?
For our business guests, we offer a complimentary shuttle service on weekdays at fixed times to De Wetering, Papendorp, Oudenrijn, and Maarssen train station. Please inform us in advance if you would like to use this service.

Can I store my own bicycle with you?
Absolutely, Utrecht is a true cycling city! We have some bicycle parking spaces and a covered bicycle storage area on our premises. Unfortunately, spaces cannot be reserved; it's first come, first served."

Can e-bikes be charged?
Yes, there are 8 power outlets available in the bicycle storage area. Alternatively, the battery can be taken to the hotel room for charging.

How can I make a reservation for the wellness facility?
You can reserve at the hotel reception or, if you want to secure a spot in advance, by contacting reception@president.carlton.nl or calling 030 241 4182. Please note that the wellness facility can only be booked in combination with an overnight stay.

What is the price for using the wellness facility, and what is included?
One hour of use of the sauna, Turkish steam bath, and whirlpool costs €29.50. It includes 2 bathrobes, slippers, and 2 delightful mocktails.

How long can I use the wellness facility?
The wellness facility can be privately reserved for one hour.

What different room types can I book at Carlton President?

Do you have TWIN rooms?
Yes, our hotel has TWIN rooms. Book a Standard room and give us a call or send an email in advance if you prefer a TWIN room. While we cannot guarantee a TWIN room, we will do our best to assist you.

Do you have TRIPLE rooms?
We don't have triple rooms, but we're happy to add an extra bed for you! The cost for an extra bed in the room is <12 years €17.50, >12 years €35. Only available upon request. Alternatively, you can stay in the LoftXL, which is standardly suitable for 3 or 4 people.

Can I reserve an extra bed or crib?
Yes, a crib can be placed in the room upon request for €10 per night. Please refer above for the costs of a larger extra bed.

Is there a minibar in the room?
Yes, all our rooms come with a standard minibar. The minibar in the Standard and Comfort rooms are stocked with two bottles of cold water. In the Deluxe room and LoftXL, you can enjoy a fully stocked minibar with a variety of drinks and treats for free.

Yes, we provide room service daily.

No. All rooms, balconies, and public areas are 100% smoke-free. However, a designated smoking terrace is available."

Can I modify the date of my reservation?
It depends on the type of reservation you have made. If you booked directly through our website or the Reservations department, you can communicate your intended modification for your (refundable) reservation by phone or via email to reservations@president.carlton.nl. Please note that (non-refundable) non-modifiable reservations cannot be adjusted. If you booked through a third party such as Booking.com or Expedia, you will need to modify your reservation through that particular platform.
